This wonderful website is your ticket to becoming a pilgrim on the Via de Francigena! Adelaide Trezzini is the founder and president of the association and will personally reply to your emails! I'd recommend becoming a pilgrim to anyone who wants to see France, Switzerland, Spain or Italy for cheep. Especially if you're under 25! Its only 16 Euros. With a pilgrim's passport you can find free lodging and discounted food. And people will be very friendly to you. Also, walking or cycling is much more of an investment than driving in and driving out, and we all know that you get what you put in.
